Seven Sisters Falls

Last Monday on P Day we went to the center of the island to a place called Seven Sisters Falls. The drive up there was beautiful on the winding narrow road that leads up into the rain forest of Grenada. The picture below showns Sister bush at the beginning of the rocky trail down to the falls.
Elder and Sister Bush at the first two of the Seven Sisters. There are five more sisters somewhere on the trial but it was a hard enough trek to these so we stopped here.
Elders Tyau and Winzenried went with us to the falls because Elder Winzenried knew the way. They are wonderful young men and fine missionaries.
Since senior missionaries are allowed to go in the water, Elder Bush couldn't resist the beautiful and refreshing dip.
Going back out from the falls, the trail seemed steeper and rockier. Sister Bush is not a quitter.
We saw several exotic flowers and plants on the trail back from Seven Sisters Falls.
Another beautiful exotic plant on our way back from the falls called Crab Claws
(Heliconia).
Sister Bush got a great picture of a banana blossom on the way back from the falls. All in all we had a wonderful day on one of our first real P Days.
