Cold for Georgia

It has been pretty cold here for the last ten days. Lows in the 20s and highs in the 40s. Believe it or not, that is pretty typical of the winters here in the south at some point each year. I really don't mind it exept for the fact that our heat pump unit decided to break down right at this time and we are being told it will be several days before the part we need gets here from wherever it has to come. That being said, our gas fireplace has become our basic source of heat for the home. It gets us to about 66 or 67 deg which is OK if you wear a sweatshirt or something.
