Last night we went to a Gordon Lightfoot concert in Macon. I had never seen him live before. He looks barely alive at that. He is 70 but looks older than that to me. It was a fun night to hear the old, great tunes of his again. He even talked about how he wrote some of them. As a side note, we were at Lowes last week picking out the outdoor carpet that mom wanted for our patio and it turned out to cost twice what I had budgeted so I said to the young man helping us, "could you use a couple of Gordon Lightfoot tickets?" To which he replied "who's that?"

Did he sing "the legend of the edmund fitzgerald?" or more commonly known to us kids as Gitchegumi :)
Jim and I remember Gordon Lightfoot. I guess we are old, but, "If you could read my mind, love..." just happens to be an enjoyable song to listen to.
