In this photo yours truly is pretending to drive a horse drawn milk delivery wagon. This is how our milk was delivered every day.
The United Stated Ambassador to Uruguay asked our mission president if a group of the missionaries could participate in an event presenting American folk music. The guy next to me playing the guitar is James C. Christensen, the noted artist who paints fantasy art. Several of his pieces have been used in the Ensign and other Church publications.
The last six months of my mission were spent in a touring musical group named "The Mormon Quintet". We were on TV, radio and many live performances, all to promote interest in the Church.
