Things said at the Career Workshop

Today mom and I helped teach a session of the career workshop that we hold every few months in our stake. Here are a few of the humerous things that were said:

One man, while practicing a statement describing himself said "I have been married 21 times". He really meant 21 years.

The same man later on in a mock interview was asked "what is one of your weaknesses"? He said "I'm too friendly but I'm trying to get over it.

Also in the mock interview a woman was asked the same question and her reply was "I have too much loving care, but after having worked with troubled youth I got over it".

Another lady in her self introduction said "I get along well with others. Even if there is someone I don't like I don't show it so nobody knows".

In another mock interview a young man was asked "how much would you expect to be paid if I hire you"? He said "the same as everybody else". We wondered, the same as everybody else in the world? Maybe everybody else in America? Maybe just everybody else in the company.
