The Hand, The Man, The Lizzard

After one week, "the hand" looks worse in some ways but it is actually healing. The area that was burned is smaller looking now and it is just mainly dead skin and new skin that looks bad and sore. Sister Bush says that she is basically in no pain but the skin feels really tight as it heals up. It is interesting to see the white spots where the hot water didn't hit the arm.
If you believe this painted message on a wall that we frequently drive by then Gregory officially is "The Man".

And so we say we're sure it is true,

Just as it is with our other sons too.

So, to be "The Man", "The Guy", "The One"

You only have to be our son. We had this little lizzard visit us the other night out on our veranda. It stayed just out of reach but "hung around" for quite a while.

That looks worse and so painful!
But, as with all healing processes, it takes time and sometimes we can't even tell anything is being healed and changed. Whenever I see the body healing, it testifies to me of the Resurrection. The body heals on a smaller scale, but one day it will be a magnificent "healing" called the Resurrection!

Gregory sure is the man! That made me laugh.

I hope your arm heals quickly. It sure does look painful. Are you supposed to put any cream on it?

And thanks for the picture of the lizard. I would have freaked out. I have a phobia of geckos. I'm always afraid they'll crawl on me when I'm sleeping. (That probably doesn't help you guys any...)

Looks so painful, but glad it is healing up.

I guess since it's spray painted on a wall, it must be true :)
