Hair of Grenada

There are lots of hairdos here that are very creative and unusual. The braiding is amazing. They do it so quickly and it is so tiny. You even see it on tiny babies. How they get them to hold still is a mystery to me. There are Rastafarian dreadlocks, hanging, bundled or stffed under a yarn cap, patterned braids, afros, lots of pony tails or braids with clips or beads on the end . Men with very long hair and women with almost shaved heads is a common sight. Sometimes the designes are shaved in. You might see red, blue, yellow and green swatches of hair. We have been fascinated by the various "dos". Hope you enjoy them.
