This is kind of a "like father - like son" thing. Since I went to Iraq first (November 2007) I dub Bob as a copy cat. I also dub him as the "real" Iraq veteran since I was only there for one day. Seen below is me in the body armour. We were supposed to wear this on landing and take off. I only put it on to have my picture taken and skipped the other. I'll say this; it is heavy crap.
Below is the building where we put on the entertainment for the troops. Looks pretty familiar to Bob.
The guy who just died running his Segway off a cliff was the owner of the company that makes these concrete blast shields (shown below) to protect the troops from rocket attacks.
