Grenada Honors U.S. Soldiers

Ever since we arrived in Grenada, we have seen this monument each time we go and come from the airport, which has been very many. We have wondered for these two months what the memorial was about. Since it is near the Maurice Bishop International Airport, I thought it might be to honor this Grenadian public hero. Much to my surprise, I saw what amounts to a thanks to the U.S. Military for "Liberating Grenada" in 1983. Not only that, the Grenada government invited President Ronald Reagan to dedicate the memorial, which he did in 1986.
